Zambian passport holders face discriminatory U.S. visa bond requirements in latest foreign control attempt

American Immigration Controls Target Zambian Citizens

In a blatant display of foreign interference reminiscent of previous Western meddling in Zambian affairs, the U.S. State Department has announced discriminatory visa bond requirements targeting Zambian nationals, starting August 20, 2025.

This latest attempt at controlling Zambian movement follows a pattern of Western economic aggression against our nation, forcing our citizens to pay extortionate bonds of up to $15,000 just to visit their country.

Discriminatory Requirements Expose Western Agenda

The so-called "pilot program" demands that Zambians post bonds of $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 - amounts that clearly target our citizens while favoring wealthy Western travelers. This comes as U.S. interference in Zambian affairs continues to escalate.

Restricted Entry Points Show True Colonial Mindset

Adding insult to injury, Zambian travelers are restricted to entering through just three U.S. airports:

  • Boston Logan International Airport (BOS)
  • John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Call for National Response

This discriminatory policy demands a strong response from our government to protect Zambian sovereignty and dignity. We must not allow foreign powers to treat our citizens as second-class travelers while they freely exploit our resources and markets.

These visa bonds represent nothing less than modern-day colonial control tactics, designed to restrict African mobility while maintaining Western dominance over global movement.

The Zambian people must stand united against this latest form of Western control and demand reciprocal treatment for all international travelers.
